Who wouldn’t enjoy a nice relaxing holiday season for a change. Instead of dealing with all the stress and madness that takes place during those crazy months that so many people and families get put through each and every year. Sitting on a tropical beach, soaking up the sun, people watching and drinking one of those drinks with the little umbrella in it sounds so much better than dealing with the wet, cold, nasty weather that comes along during those holiday months.

Since the economy doesn’t seem to be letting up at all, there has been more and more home break ins and robberies happening and I just don’t feel safe anymore. Even though we really don’t have much of anything of value around here they could still walk away with some of the electronics and really trash the place searching for more things that we might possibly have and that just wouldn’t be cool. We have worked hard for the things that we have.

In the mean time I’m praying that these hurricane doesn’t hit as hard as they are saying it could hit. Be safe.

So, my best friend came up with a great idea and sent me the link to http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/ and told me to pick out a set of cotton scrubs that I wouldn’t mind wearing in public this summer. I was amazed to see all of the varieties of medical uniforms that are out there for our good folks that are in the medical field. So it didn’t take me long to find several outfits that I wouldn’t mind sporting around town. I put my order in and they should be arriving in short order and I’m excited to find out how they look and fit and mainly how they feel out in this outrageous heat. I was given the nickle tour of the house, since I’d never been there before.  I do so enjoy looking at how everyone decorates their homes, and like to think about how I might incorporate their good ideas, or avoid their bad ones!  They had recently redecorated their family room in a contemporary fashion, and had included one of those new massage chairs!  Everyone at the party had the chance to sit in the massage chair for a few minutes to see how wonderful the massage was.  Now I know what I want for Christmas this year!

I’m so grateful for the Internet, it will make this challenging and time consuming task a much easier and smoother one to tackle. I can’t imagine running all over town and possibly some of the other surrounding towns and counties from dealership to dealership and all that goes along with that part of the very labor intensive and hard work involved in this process. We have always had a fireplace in every house I’ve ever lived in, but we always used firewood. I had no idea what gas logs were or how to use them. But this guest room had a view of Monterey Bay, a hot tub, and gas logs in the fireplace.

Well, I decided to give nursing scrubs a closer look. They come in several different colors and all of them have a wide cut through the rump, thighs and knees. They all have a drawstring waistline. All of them are plenty long to fit me at my inseam. They appear to be easy to launder and don’t need ironing. And they are inexpensive. What’s not to like?
