This summer has a great lineup of movies coming out. I can’t believe how many big budget movies are coming to the big screen. Some of them truly deserve or need to be seen on the big screen to get maximum enjoyment, like the new Star Wars and new Transformers sequel. I think I will try to catch a couple of them for matinee shows, when the ticket price is reduced and the day is so hot that it will be nice to be indoors at a movie in air conditioned comfort.

New Movies
Thursday, June 18th, 2009Great karma ride
Sunday, October 12th, 2008Discovered an awesome looking hybrid car called Karma, made by the new automotive company, Fisker, that looks fabulous.
The car runs on a battery charge that last fifty miles and if you need to go further than fifty miles it switches over to gas power for further mileage.
The concept behind the car is that most people do not drive more than fifty miles in a single day, so it would produce zero emissions. That’s great for the environment and easy on the pocket book. Imagine if you never have to pay for gas again.
There is one catch though, and that is the price tag of $80,000. If you like it as much as I do, then start saving now, because they will be coming out in 2010.
Redecorating guest bedroom soon
Wednesday, September 17th, 2008A few weeks ago my SIL sent us a gift from where she is stationed overseas – a very beautiful burgundy & gold tablecloth. I couldn’t figure out where to put it for a while, but it eventually ended up in the guest bedroom. Now I need to re-do the window treatment to make the room look nicer.
Now THAT’S a bad day!
Monday, July 21st, 2008I was reading on msnbc.nbc.com this morning that last week, the first day on the job for police officer Tim Pochron in Hobart Indiana did not start well. Twenty nine minutes into his first day, his new squad car was parked outside his house (I don’t know why it was outside his house when he was on the job, that is interesting….) and an intoxicated driver smashed into the squad car, and then a tree. The rear axle of the squad car was bent from the impact.
Not a good way to start a job, is it?
Buying at wholesale prices
Monday, July 21st, 2008I love to buy things at outlets where I pay wholesale prices without having to register as a retailer and can just buy things and use them at home! One such example of that is the Takemi Select Wholesale Outlet where you can buy massage therapy chairs or massage beds for up to 75% off of the retail price. They are located in Florida, but offer free shipping. They accept credit cards, and also offer 12 months no interest financing.
