Happy New Year!

Monday, December 31st, 2007

I know we sound like fuddy duddies, but we can’t stay awake until midnight to watch the ball drop on Times Square. We go to bed early and get up early, so we’ll have to celebrate the New Year in the morning. A champagne breakfast doesn’t sound so bad!

I’m really looking forward to a better year for my family in 2008. The move was harder to pull off than I ever imagined. I’ve only moved three times in my whole life, so you can imagine how much stuff I had to sort through and box up to get everything down here. Thank goodnes DH was able to drive down several times and get help from his laborers with the loading and unloading.

No resolutions for me other than to make 2008 our best year ever, and I wish the same for all you!

Santa Found Our New House!

Tuesday, December 25th, 2007

Yes, Santa was here last night. Not that we were worried. I’ve been blessed with two wonderful sons and a loving husband, and they all deserve stockings full of goodies.

Santa was really good to all of us, and we all had a nice time sitting in the living room around the tree in our jammies, opening presents and making a grand mess.

We are having a house full of people on their way – so I have to scoot and get ready.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Plans

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

Looking forward to having a housefull of family over the holidays.

Both sons will be here, home from college.  No school for me either, so I will be able to be home and enjoy over a week at home!

Christmas Day we’ll have at least two or three of the brothers and sisters and their families stop by with a covered dish and a little family party. Sadly, mom and dad will not be in the area over Christmas. They will be in North Carolina. But we’ll find a way to get together after they get back.

I wonder if we will have snow before Santa comes? In New England we used to ALWAYS have a white Christmas.

After talking with a friend who read my blog recently, she asked why I would put all this SEO information up on my website that could help spammers achieve higher rankings? So I simply told her this, all this stuff is out on the internet and believe me when I say the spammers know alot more then the couple of simple plugins I  posted about.

I’m just trying to have a place of my own on the web to store and share information easily with family and friends. As I have more time to devote to writing, I hope to include more family oriented things, like sharing photos of our new house and even recipes.
