Being the last day of school for the public school system, the kids on my school bus were really wound up this morning! I let them sit where-ever they wanted to instead of their assigned seats, and when we pulled into the school I got onto the PA microphone and said “Let’s hear it for the last day of school!” Well, the noise was deafening! The bus monitors on the sidewalk laughed at how much noise was coming from my bus!
I’m glad for the kids that they will have summer off. I’m glad not to have to drive a school bus in this awful heat, but not glad for the loss of income!
