As I drive the bus past farms every day, I sometimes see the manure pits that the farmers have where they put the cow manure. I guess they end up selling it or using it down the road for fertilizer. Anyway, when I see the pits I am reminded of how last July a family from around here died from methane gas when they went into a manure pit. I don’t understand why anyone would even go INTO a manure pit without a gas mask on! That methane can kill you in an instant.

04|May|2008 1I love the background on the blog, it is so cheerful. Next time I am in the dumps I am going to log on to your blogging site and I’m sure it will put a smile on my face, even if it is in the dead of winter, you have to feel “Springy” when you view it.
As to the manure pits - I’m with you, who would even think of going into one, totally gross!
