I have to take hubby to a doctor’s appointment in a few minutes. Just started tonight’s supper in the crock-pot. I’m trying more and more to cook slow-cooker meals so that I can put them together between my school bus runs and let it cook while I’m doing my afternoon run, having supper ready when I walk in the door. I find that I am waaaaaay too tired to cook a “real meal” after working such a hard split-shift.
Here’s what’s cooking today! This is my own recipe, did not get it from a cookbook or magazine.
Hamburger soup:
Put all ingredients in slow cooker and stir. Cover slow cooker and set on low for 6 - 8 hours. I’m using a 2 qt sized crock pot today, one of the old fashioned kinds.
I usually throw this together a few minutes before supper and “nuke” it, but today I thought I’d try it in the slow-cooker so it will be ready when I walk in the door after work tonight. This should be yummy, slow-cooking it should let the flavors blend very well.
