I just wanted to share some pictures of some Flower Fairies that I made. These were inspired by a segment on the Carol Duval TV show. They were made with artificial flowers, and they now adorn my craft room.
I went to my local Joann’s fabric store and asked them for the lightweight polyster fabric used to make bathrobes. I cut the fabric into small strips, sewed them into skinny tubes and pulled them over the pipe cleaners that I used for the arms & legs. You can, however, sometimes buy pink/brown/white pipe cleaners (actually crafting chenille stems) at local craft stores. Using those can eliminate the need for covering them with fabric.
